Abstract

The article develops a methodology for econometric modeling of factors shaping the financial results of the service sector. The mechanism of formation of financial results is revealed through three blocks - income, costs and efficiency blocks. As a result of the research, a multifactor model of financial results, its dynamic version and an extended specification taking into account operational leverage are proposed. A system of sequential diagnostic tests for checking the adequacy of the model and rules for interpreting the results are based.
