CREATIVITY-ORIENTED DIDACTIC CONTENT OF CHEMISTRY LESSONS BASED ON INTERNATIONAL ASSESSMENT STUDIES (PISA, TIMSS)

The article addresses the issues of developing didactic content aimed at fostering students’ creative competence in the process of teaching chemistry in general education schools, based on the requirements of international assessment studies (PISA, TIMSS). The study provides a scientific rationale for the possibilities of enhancing students’ creative thinking, non-standard problem solving, and scientifically grounded decision making by orienting the content of chemistry education toward real-life contexts, problem situations, and analytical activities. The paper also reveals effective mechanisms for organizing creativity-oriented didactic content through the integration of PISA- and TIMSS-format tasks into chemistry lessons.
