This scientific article analyzes the functional-semantic properties of sentence fragments in complex sentences. It also examines the semantic and grammatical relationships between the components of a complex sentence, their functions and communicative significance in the speech process, as well as the syntactic functions, semantic load, and role of sentence fragments in the main and subordinate clauses in the formation of the content of the text, based on examples.
