These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relations between the Limited Liability Company “Academic Publishing House” (the “Administration”) and any person using the website econferences.ru (the “User” and the “Website” respectively).

Consent to the processing of personal data is executed as a separate document and does not form part of these Terms.

This requirement is established by part 1 of Article 9 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”, as amended by Federal Law No. 266-FZ of 14 July 2022. Acceptance of these Terms does not constitute the giving of consent to the processing of personal data; such consent is given by the User through a separate action and is executed by means of the document published at econferences.ru/consent/.

1.2. These Terms do not constitute a public offer and do not govern the Parties’ relations concerning services provided for a fee. The terms on which the services of consideration and publication of materials are provided are set out in the Public Offer.

1.3. The Administration may amend these Terms at any time in the manner set out in section 8.

1.4. The Website runs on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, distributed by the Public Knowledge Project under a free licence.

  • taking any action aimed at disrupting the operation of the Website, including distributing malicious software and attempting unauthorised access to sections of the Website, to other Users’ accounts or to the server infrastructure;
  • carrying out automated data collection (parsing, scraping) to an extent that places an excessive load on the Website, or in circumvention of the technical restrictions established by the Administration. Systematic harvesting of metadata is permitted through the open OAI-PMH interface;
  • using the Website to disseminate information prohibited by the legislation of the Russian Federation, or information that is offensive, defamatory or inaccurate;
  • impersonating another person or using the personal data of others or the details of organisations without the appropriate authority;
