The article provides a comparative analysis of clothing names identified in Uzbek and English linguoculturology, taking into account linguistic features, using the example of folklore and songs. A general description of the compiled clothes is given and a group of common names is considered in more detail to identify similar and specific features of different traditional clothes in the aspect of cultural linguistics.
