This article discusses the directions for developing methodological skills of general education school teachers based on the cognitive approach. It examines the expansion of teachers’ cognitive abilities, the increase of cognitive mobility, the components of cognitive mobility, the role of collaborative pedagogical activity in enhancing teachers’ intellectual activity, technologies that enable joint activity, and their significance in developing the methodological skills of future teachers. The article serves as a source for the scientific-pedagogical community, students, and researchers.
