Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a very common disease of the vaginal ecosystem that requires timely diagnosis, comprehensive and adequate treatment. The use of intravaginal forms of ascorbic acid affects the main mechanisms of BV pathogenesis and increases the effectiveness of treatment.
