Abstract

Efficient housing stock management is a fundamental component of urban development and social stability. This paper explores the international practices of housing stock management in selected countries, including Germany, Singapore, the Netherlands, and Sweden. By comparing institutional frameworks, financing mechanisms, regulatory approaches, and public-private partnerships, the study identifies critical success factors and challenges. The analysis provides valuable insights for transitional economies, particularly Uzbekistan, in developing a modern, inclusive, and sustainable housing management system.
