Abstract

This article examines the formation of musical thinking and musical consciousness, as well as their psychological and theoretical foundations. The study scientifically analyzes the relationship between musical consciousness, musical hearing, rhythm perception, and artistic imagery. Eastern and Western musical cultures are comparatively studied, highlighting the specific features of monodic thinking in Eastern music and harmonic thinking in European musical culture. The article also discusses the historical development of musical thinking, the teachings of Pythagoras, issues related to performance and composition, and the importance of theoretical knowledge in modern music education.
