Abstract

The issue of improving the quality and effectiveness of the education system depends, first of all, on how well-founded and evidence-based management decisions are made. From this point of view, monitoring and reflexive-analytical management are integral management mechanisms that ensure continuous monitoring, evaluation, analysis and improvement of the pedagogical process in an educational institution. While monitoring identifies “what is happening”, reflexive-analytical management explains “why it is happening” and “how it can be improved” and develops specific measures. Educational monitoring is the process of systematically monitoring the quality and effectiveness of the educational process, their regular collection, recording, analysis and evaluation based on established criteria and indicators. Monitoring serves as a mechanism for continuous control and development in the management of the education system. It is not limited to determining the final results, but also covers the process itself, its dynamic changes and internal development trends.
