Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive scientific analysis of current trends in anticoagulant therapy, with particular emphasis on the new-generation anticoagulants known as direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs/NOACs). The study highlights their clinical significance, pharmacological characteristics, and comparative advantages over conventional anticoagulants. Special attention is given to the role of anticoagulants in the prevention of thromboembolic complications, as well as to contemporary clinical approaches to their use in cardiovascular disorders and venous thromboembolism.
