This article analyzes the influence of the Uzbek phonological system on English pronunciation based on the theories of language transfer and "equivalence classification". The findings identify systematic deviations in vowel substitution, consonant cluster simplification, and rhythmic patterns, attributing these challenges to the structural mismatches between the two languages. Ultimately, the study advocates for a shift from traditional grammar-heavy instruction toward a multi-modal approach that prioritizes suprasegmental features and targeted phonetic training to enhance global intelligibility.
