Abstract

This article discusses the theoretical foundations of the process of assessing the quality of education and the role of the teacher in this process based on scientific sources. Also, the professional competence of the teacher, his responsibility in assessment activities, and modern assessment approaches as a factor in improving the quality of education are analyzed.
