Over the past four years, the global business intelligence and analytics market has grown rapidly, increasing from $130 billion to $200 billion. This expansion has been driven by the growing volume of corporate databases, mobile applications, web analytics, and social media information, which has encouraged enterprises to adopt new marketing tools for processing and analyzing big data. In this context, competitive intelligence has become an important instrument for strengthening customer relations, detecting links between different data sources, forecasting sales, and improving strategic decision-making.
