OPTIMIZATION OF EARLY AUTODERMOPLASTY IN BURN PATIENTS VIA INTEGRATED RISK PREDICTION AND PROPHYLAXIS

Prompt coverage of extensive burn defects is essential to prevent systemic inflammatory responses and secondary infectious complications. High rates of autograft failure under traditional perioperative protocols highlight the urgent need for advanced diagnostic and prophylactic algorithms. Early surgical excision of non-viable burn eschar followed by immediate autologous skin grafting is recognized as the definitive strategy for controlling systemic inflammatory response syndrome and wound-derived sepsis. However, high rates of postoperative graft failure driven by residual sub-necrotic tissue, bacterial colonization, and intense wound exudation severely compromise overall surgical success. This research aimed to enhance early autodermoplasty outcomes by introducing an integrated risk-prediction model coupled with tailored prophylactic surgical protocols against skin graft failure.
