Abstract

One of the most critical tasks facing modern pharmacy is increasing the efficacy of drugs while simultaneously reducing their toxic effects on the body and creating safe, standardized phytopreparations. From this perspective, re-analyzing the historical medical heritage using modern scientific methods holds particular significance. In his great work "Al-Qanun fit-Tibb" (The Canon of Medicine), Abu Ali ibn Sino described more than 800 simple medicinal plants and thousands of complex formulas. Among these, electuaries (ma'juns) stand out due to their multi-component nature, long-lasting effects, and gentle impact on the body. Today, the trend of "returning to natural medicines" is intensifying in global pharmacy. Therefore, re-evaluating Ibn Sino's polypharmaceutical approaches using modern biotechnological, physicochemical, and analytical methods is a relevant scientific direction.
