Abstract

This article analyzes the patterns of formation of groundwater deposits located in the northern part of the Surkhandarya artesian basin. The role of orographic structures on the southern slopes of the Hissar Range, hydrographic networks (Tupalang, Sangardak, Khojaipak rivers), and the lithological composition of the region in the accumulation of water resources are examined. The study also evaluates the impact of climate change and anthropogenic factors on groundwater dynamics based on long-term monitoring data.
