This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of musical interpretation in piano performance. In the process of interpreting a musical work, the role of the performer's artistic thinking, stylistic knowledge, technical skill, and individual creative approach is highlighted. It also examines the interpretative features of the works of various periods and composers, as well as the mechanisms for understanding the musical text and conveying it to the listener. The results of the article serve to develop the professional competencies of piano performers and improve their performance culture.
