This article provides a comparative analysis of the specific characteristics of the social adaptation process across different age groups of preschoolers. The study examined the ability of children in the junior, middle, and senior groups to communicate with peers, participate in collective activities, comply with social norms and rules, and manage their emotional state. Additionally, pedagogical and psychological factors influencing the level of social adaptation were identified, and effective pedagogical approaches in accordance with age characteristics were recommended. The research results play an important role in developing the social competence of children in preschool educational organizations and ensuring their successful integration into the social environment.
