This thesis explores the psychological nuances of how family life is perceived by adolescents in Uzbekistan, specifically comparing those in general education schools with those in specialized academic environments. The research utilizes the “Family Environment Scale” (FES) by R. Moos and S. Kupriyanov to analyze ten distinct parameters of family dynamics. By integrating the theoretical contributions of renowned uzbek psychologists like V.M. Karimova, E.G. G’oziyev, and Sh.R. Barotov, the study identifies that specialized school students view the family as a high-achievement, controlled environment, whereas general education students emphasize emotional cohesion and traditional values. These findings provide a basis for developing targeted psychological support systems in the uzbek educational landscape.
