Abstract

Vegetable production plays a crucial role in ensuring food security, improving nutrition, and supporting economic development. However, traditional farming methods often fail to provide sufficient yield and quality due to limited resources, climate change, pests, and inefficient management practices. This article discusses how modern farming technologies can significantly improve vegetable production by increasing productivity, reducing water consumption, enhancing soil fertility, and minimizing crop losses. Technologies such as drip irrigation, greenhouse farming, hydroponics, precision agriculture, smart fertilization, and integrated pest management are examined. The paper highlights the importance of adopting digital tools, mechanization, and sustainable practices to improve vegetable farming efficiency. Additionally, challenges in implementing these technologies, such as high costs and lack of farmer training, are analyzed. The article concludes that modern agricultural technologies are essential for sustainable vegetable production and recommends supportive policies and educational programs for farmers.
