This article explores how linguistic structures—phonetic, grammatical, lexical, and phraseological—mirror the cognitive and emotional patterns characteristic of a given ethnic community. The analysis is grounded in findings from cognitive linguistics, ethnopsycholinguistics, and cultural anthropology, emphasizing that linguistic features are not arbitrary but reflect deep-seated mental dispositions. Understanding this connection enhances intercultural competence and informs translation, education, and cross-cultural dialogue.
