The article is devoted to the analysis of preliminary constitutional control as a type of constitutional control carried out by the bodies of constitutional justice. The essence and specificity of preliminary constitutional control are shown. The article discusses problems related to the legal nature, regulatory regulation and procedure for implementing the institution of ex ante control in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
