The article explores why it is difficult to teach critical thinking to secondary school students in Uzbekistan. It highlights the main problems, such as old-fashioned teaching methods, the pressure of standardized tests, and cultural factors that discourage students from questioning authority. The piece provides a clear look at how the education system can move away from simple memorization toward a more analytical and creative approach for the younger generation.
