Abstract

The field of foreign language education has undergone a dramatic transformation due to advances in digital technology and the widespread adoption of online platforms. Traditional classroom-based teaching, once the norm, is now being supplemented—or even replaced—by distance and online learning. The COVID-19 pandemic acted as a catalyst for this shift, pushing both teachers and students into virtual learning environments at an unprecedented pace.
