It emphasizes the legal challenges faced by persons with disabilities in Uzbekistan, particularly the low awareness of their rights despite comprehensive legal protections. The article reviews the rights enshrined in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Rights of Persons with Disabilities," including access to education, employment, healthcare, and cultural participation. It also covers the impact of international conventions like the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and national initiatives like the "Sharoit.plus" mega-project, aimed at enhancing inclusion through specialized platforms like "Huquq Plus" and "Kitob Plus."
