Education is a fundamental right, yet for generations, girls in Uzbekistan have faced numerous barriers to accessing quality learning opportunities. While significant progress has been made, challenges such as social norms, economic factors, and systemic barriers continue to hinder full gender equality in education. This article explores the current state of girls’ education in Uzbekistan, the historical progress, existing challenges, and the potential future if necessary actions are not taken.
