Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) translation tools has significantly influenced modern translation practices, particularly in the processing of linguoculturally marked units. Proverbs represent one of the most challenging linguistic phenomena for AI-based translation systems due to their figurative nature, cultural specificity, and pragmatic depth. This study investigates the linguocultural aspects of proverb translation in AI-based dictionaries through a comparative linguistic analysis of Uzbek and English proverb units.
