Аннотация

The concept of evaluation is central to language use, as it reflects the speaker’s attitudes, judgments, and assessments regarding people, events, or situations. Language units that express evaluation include adjectives, adverbs, nouns, and verbs, all of which contribute to the subjective meaning conveyed in communication. This thesis explores how different language units serve the function of expressing evaluation, focusing on their role in shaping the meaning of a discourse.
