This article mentions most aspects of the activities of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi, a prominent representative of the Turkestan Jadid movement, an enlightened publicist, playwright. Schools and textbooks of Behbudi, newspapers and magazines, dramaturgy are discussed. The remarkable aspects of Behbudi's activity are analyzed.
