This article discusses the changes that the art of piano has undergone in the age of digital technologies. In particular, the impact of electronic pianos, MIDI systems, digital audio workstations (DAW), online performance platforms, and artificial intelligence on the music creation process is analyzed. The article explores the influence of digital technologies on performance, their advantages, and future prospects. The synergy between traditional pianos and digital tools is demonstrated to be opening new horizons in musical creativity.
