Narrative techniques, including storytelling, dialogues, audio dramas, and personal anecdotes, play a significant role in enhancing auditory comprehension in language learning. These techniques engage learners by creating meaningful and immersive experiences, helping them focus on and process spoken language. Additionally, narratives provide contextual language use, reinforce vocabulary and grammar, and promote cultural understanding. While challenges such as selecting appropriate materials and maintaining interest exist, solutions like using multimedia and interactive storytelling can address these issues. This article highlights the benefits and practical applications of narrative techniques in improving auditory comprehension.
