This thesis analyzes the linguistic and psychological nature of associative relations, their role in the language learning process, and their applicability in the development of learner’s dictionaries. The study examines the theoretical foundations of associative relations and learner’s dictionaries, as well as their practical implementation. Semantic, psycholinguistic, and cognitive relationships between linguistic units are interpreted from the perspective of associative connections, and their significance in language acquisition is substantiated. Furthermore, the structure, functional characteristics, and didactic importance of learner’s dictionaries are discussed, and the mechanisms of developing lexical competence through such dictionaries are analyzed.
