THE ROLE OF DIGITAL READING IN MODERN WRITING SKILLS

This article examines the impact of digital reading in South Korea, Germany, and Brazil. In South Korea, students used digital tools (tablets and e-books) to read academic texts and improve their writing skills. The results showed that students' vocabulary and writing organization improved after using digital reading tools. In Germany, students read online articles and blogs, focusing on writing structure and grammar. The findings indicated that digital reading helped students learn new expressions, but some used informal language in their writing. In Brazil, students used e-books for reading lessons and were encouraged to use dictionaries and take notes. The results showed that students became more confident in writing and used a more varied vocabulary.
