This abstract is devoted to a scientific analysis of the significance of Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) in modern astronomy and space security. Near-Earth objects move around the Sun in elliptical orbits and, in some cases, may approach or intersect Earth’s orbit. Some of these objects possess high kinetic energy and, in the event of an impact with Earth, could cause regional or even global environmental, social, and economic consequences.
