This paper examines methodological approaches to assessing the hidden economy within the context of digital transformation. Key methods such as monetary models, labor force surveys, transaction approaches, and econometric modeling are analyzed alongside digital data-driven tools, including big data analytics, machine learning, and blockchain-based monitoring. The study argues that integrating traditional and digital methodologies provides more accurate assessments of the hidden economy and enhances policy effectiveness in ensuring economic transparency.
