Amir Timur (Tamerlane), a 14th-century Turco-Mongol conqueror, established a vast empire across Central Asia, Persia, and parts of India and Russia. His reign, while characterized by military expansion and cultural flourishing, faced persistent challenges from separatist movements. These movements, driven by regional identities, dynastic rivalries, and local grievances, threatened the cohesion and stability of the Timurid Empire. This article explores the nature and dynamics of separatist movements during Timur's rule, examining their causes, impact, and the strategies employed by Timur to suppress them.
