This article examines the major challenges encountered in translating complex sentences from English into Uzbek from the perspective of Translation Studies. The research analyzes the syntactic differences between English and Uzbek, focusing on the structure of complex sentences, subordinate clauses, conjunctions, and semantic relationships that influence translation quality. Particular attention is paid to grammatical transformations, translation equivalence, and the limitations of literal translation. Relevant national and international scholarly sources are comparatively reviewed to identify effective translation strategies for preserving both meaning and stylistic features. The findings emphasize the importance of applying appropriate translation techniques to achieve natural and accurate translations of English complex sentences into Uzbek while maintaining the communicative intent of the source text.
