Introduction The study of isomeric ratios provides information on the reaction mechanism, in particular, the moment of inertia of the nucleus, the spin dependence of the level density, and the nature of transitions between highly excited nuclear states [1-3]. In this work, the excitation cross sections of 112m, gIn isomeric states in (n, 2n) reactions on the 113In nucleus at a neutron energy of En = 14.1 MeV were studied using the induced-activity method. Experimental technique

Abstract

The cross sections and isomeric ratios of (n,2n) reactions on the 113In nucleus were studied using the induced activity method. The experimental isomeric ratios are compared with the results of other studies and calculated using a statistical model of the nucleus.
