Abstract

This article examines phytonyms (flower names) in the poetry of the People's Poet of Uzbekistan, Muhammad Yusuf, based on linguocognitive and hermeneutic principles. Using the examples of works such as "Rayhon" (Basil), "Qizg‘aldoq" (Poppy), and "Ko‘klamoyim" (Spring Lady), which encompasses a complex of spring flowers, it is argued that flowers are not merely elements of nature but cultural codes expressing national mentality, social dramas, and the spiritual world of the lyrical hero.
