Abstract

Storytelling has always played a significant role in the cognitive, emotional, and creative development of children. This article explores how storytelling influences children’s imagination and overall development. It discusses the psychological and educational benefits of storytelling, its role in language development, creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. The paper also highlights practical strategies for teachers and parents to effectively use storytelling in preschool and primary education. The findings suggest that storytelling is not only an entertaining activity but also a powerful educational tool that supports holistic child development.
