This study examines the effectiveness of modern field management strategies in conserving agricultural water resources under accelerating climate change conditions. The research evaluates and compares traditional surface irrigation with advanced practices such as drip irrigation, mulching, minimum tillage, and the use of drought-resistant crop varieties. The findings demonstrate a substantial reduction in overall water consumption while ensuring stable or slightly enhanced crop productivity, thereby improving water-use efficiency without compromising yield performance. In addition, these practices contributed to better soil moisture retention, reduced evaporation losses, and enhanced plant tolerance to drought stress.
