Abstract

Energy is one of the most essential pillars of modern civilization, supporting industrial development, transportation, communication, and daily life. The energy sector is undergoing rapid transformation due to growing energy demand, depletion of fossil fuel resources, and environmental concerns such as climate change and pollution. In this transformation process, chemistry plays a fundamental and irreplaceable role. From fossil fuel processing and combustion to renewable energy technologies, energy storage systems, and environmental protection, chemical science provides the theoretical foundations and practical solutions for efficient and sustainable energy production.
