Ushbu tezisda generativ dizaynning mohiyati va uning an’anaviy loyihalash usullaridan farqli jihatlari tahlil qilinadi. Generativ yondashuv sun’iy intellekt, evolyutsion algoritmlar va ko‘p-mezonli optimallashtirishdan foydalanib, cheklov va maqsad funksiyalariga mos yuzlab variantlarni avtomatik ishlab chiqadi. Natijada qaror qabul qilish jarayoni tezlashadi, resurs sarfi kamayadi va ishlab chiqarishga yaroqli, innovatsion shakllar paydo bo‘ladi. Shu bilan birga, generativ dizaynning cheklovlari — ma’lumot sifati, ishlab chiqarish texnologiyalari (DfAM/DFM) bilan moslashuv, hamda dizayner kompetensiyalariga qo‘yiladigan yangi talablar — ko‘rsatib o‘tiladi.
