Abstract

This article explores the methodology of developing oral speech skills of primary school students through a variable approach, with specific reference to schools where instruction is conducted in the Karakalpak language. Since oral communication serves as the foundation for both academic success and social development, it is essential to design teaching strategies that combine cultural relevance, gradual progression, and communicative authenticity. Therefore, the study highlights theoretical underpinnings such as sociocultural theory, communicative competence, and task-based learning, while also proposing practical techniques including storytelling, role play, group discussions, and daily micro-routines.
