Abstract

This paper explores the use of English idioms and phrasal verbs in daily communication, emphasizing their role in enhancing the richness and fluency of language. The study examines how idiomatic expressions and phrasal verbs are incorporated into everyday speech, their significance in various contexts, and their impact on effective communication. It highlights the importance of understanding and using these linguistic tools for both native speakers and learners of English. Through an analysis of common idioms and phrasal verbs, the paper also investigates their cultural implications and the challenges learners face in mastering these expressions. Ultimately, the paper underscores the necessity of idiomatic and phrasal verb knowledge for effective language proficiency in casual and formal communication settings.
