Abstract

This manuscript examines the transformation of commercial banking from traditional models toward FinTech ecosystems and its implications for financial performance. Drawing on recent empirical and conceptual studies, the paper analyzes how digital technologies, platformization, and ecosystem integration affect efficiency, profitability, and risk. The findings indicate that while digital transformation enhances cost efficiency and customer reach, it also introduces new operational and strategic risks. The study contributes to understanding the dual impact of FinTech ecosystems and provides policy and managerial implications for emerging markets.
