Abstract

This article examines the methodology of teaching terms and terminology in the process of foreign language education. It emphasizes the importance of mastering specialized vocabulary for effective communication in academic and professional contexts. The study discusses the role of terminology in developing students’ linguistic competence and subject-specific knowledge. Various teaching methods and strategies for introducing, explaining, and practicing terms are analyzed. Special attention is given to contextual learning, the use of authentic materials, and interactive classroom activities that help learners understand and correctly apply terminology. The article also highlights the importance of systematic work with terms to improve students’ comprehension, translation skills, and professional communication in a foreign language.
