Abstract

This article discusses the methodology of using dictionaries in foreign language teaching. It highlights the importance of dictionaries as an effective tool for developing learners’ vocabulary, improving pronunciation, and enhancing reading and writing skills. The study analyzes different types of dictionaries and their role in the language learning process. Special attention is given to practical techniques for integrating dictionary use into classroom activities. The article also emphasizes how systematic work with dictionaries can promote learner autonomy and improve overall language competence.
