Abstract

The type of salinity in the studied sections of typical irrigated gray soils consists of sulfate and chloride-sulfate salinity types, and according to the degree of salinity, they are classified as non-saline, weakly and moderately saline. They are considered to be relatively fertile soils with good amelioration status. Increasing salinity levels lead to a decrease in soil fertility and a decrease in the quantity and quality of agricultural crops.
